“Pont d’Aël” is a Roman aqueduct bridge of 3 BC in Aymavilles (AO). It’s 60,46 m long and 2,26 m width and consists of a single arch in a gorge 66 m deep, with a span of 14,24 m. Surveys consisted of direct sonic tests, sonic tomographic tests and coring on the walls in order to understand the texture of the walls throughout the thickness of the bridge.
