The Nabi Musa is a complex of building that represents in the local tradition the Tomb of Moses. This complex of buildings is also a place of pilgrimage. The main part of the construction is dated back to 1269 and subsequently has been extended. The surveys on the building were carried out to determine the mechanical properties and construction techniques of the structural elements. In particular tests with double flat jacks, sonic tests, videoscope investigations and foundational excavations and samples of mortar and samples of soil.
