Diagonal compression tests and sonic tests were carried out on a masonry building placed in L’Aquila, damaged by the earthquake in 2009. Aim of this tests was to estimate the increase of resistance of the panels following the application of innovative intervention techniques, such as the reinforcement with inorganic matrix composite materials (FRCM). In laboratory, some bending and compression tests of mortar prisms were carried too, taking the same material used for the preparation of the panels for diagonals tests.
