The earthquake of 6 April 2009 in Abruzzo region had severely damaged the theater “San Filippo” in L’Aquila. During the work on the restoration and seismic strengthening of the church a system of monitoring of the major cracks by displacement transducers, combined with a sensor of temperature and relative humidity for correlation with environmental parameters was installed.
