The buildings, consisting of more structure in c.a. six floors high, have deterioration conditions mainly in the basements. The damage is mainly due to water and to the sheath covering the plan. However, there is often a critical situation in the support of the pillars and in the shelves, for the offset in the levels of floors.
A campaign of experimental investigations (coring of c.a., tests by covermeter, hammer and ultrasonic tests, load tests) for the structural verification of the basement was realized for this reason.
